The calculated times displayed above are accurate to the nearest minute. In your case, this means if you pray or make dua at least 1 minute after , this means you have definitely prayed or made dua in the last third of the night. Click here to understand why the last third of the night is a special time for Muslims. As for the midnight value given to you (), this is for those who believe the ‘Isha prayer must be performed before midnight. This is also accurate to the nearest minute, so this could mean midnight is actually 1 minute earlier than the value given to you. I must remind you that the calculator depends on you giving accurate times for Maghrib and Fajr, so you must ensure they are correct. Report issues to me on Instagram. The code for this site is on GitHub. Note that this calculator does not (yet) work for Maghrib and Fajr times in countries where for a single Islamic/Hijri day the Maghrib and Fajr time is in the same Gregorian day. These are some countries in Northern Europe close to the North Pole. For example, on the 25th of June 2023, Maghrib in the city of Reykjavik (Iceland) was at 00:05 and Fajr was at 02:13. If you entered these times in the calculator, you would've gotten very obviously wrong results like 17:30 for the last third of the night and 13:09 for midnight. That means if your country is not supported, you would realise straight away using common sense. If you're still in doubt over whether your country is supported, just DM me on Instagram.
